Ubud Open Studios

Studio Lydia Janssen
Meet the Artists
Ubud Open Studios throws open the doors of 60+ private studios, where painters, illustrators, architects, interior designers, photographers, ceramicists, leatherworkers, weavers, costume makers, carvers, and more share their techniques, processes, and philosophies.
The event doesn’t follow a strict schedule, instead, as a participant you are invited to make your own itinerary, choosing from the 60+ studios available. Between the opening times, you can visit studios at your own pace and in whatever order you wish.
This format allows you to handpick the creatives you’re truly interested in: design enthusiasts can visit top architects; craft lovers can shortlist stone carvers and leatherworkers; artists can find painters and illustrators. Alternatively, those curious about all creative fields, can map out studios in a given area and see as many as they can in a single day.

The beautiful work of Christyne Forti, who is one of the 20 new artists and studios joining Ubud Open Studios this year. Her bark and leaf creations are stunning.
