Savaya Bali — The World's #5 Club on Uluwatu's Clifftops

Some places earn their reputation slowly. Savaya Bali did not wait. In just five years, this clifftop venue in Uluwatu has gone from ambitious newcomer to one of the most celebrated clubs on the planet.

The numbers alone tell a compelling story. Savaya has risen to #5 in the world in DJ Mag’s prestigious Top 100 Clubs 2026 ranking, while retaining its title as the #1 Club in Asia for the third consecutive year. That trajectory — from #9 in 2024 to #6 in 2025 to #5 in 2026 — is not a fluke. It is momentum with purpose.

The setting is unlike anything else on the island. Savaya sits nearly 100 meters above the Indian Ocean on the cliffs of Uluwatu, at the intersection of nature, architecture, and sound. Jungle presses in from behind. The ocean stretches out below. Between them, a striking geometric structure floats above it all — part architectural statement, part open-air stage for the world’s finest artists.

In 2024 alone, the venue welcomed 134 renowned international artists, including Black Coffee, Solomun, Rüfüs Du Sol, Charlotte de Witte, Dixon, and Jamie Jones. The 2025–2026 season raised the bar further, with Fatboy Slim, Amelie Lens, Ben Böhmer, and Artbat all performing during an epic nine-night New Year’s Week celebration. (NOW! Bali)

Yet Savaya is more than a music venue. Two infinity pools catch the afternoon light. Daybeds face the horizon. The menu spans Mediterranean-inspired dishes, fresh sushi, and seasonal cocktails crafted from Bali’s finest produce. Days here move at their own pace — from a quiet morning swim to a sunset set that turns the sky gold.

Its postcard-worthy position on the southern tip of the Bukit Peninsula juxtaposes the lush surrounding jungle with weathered rock and the gentle undulation of the waves rolling beneath. That contrast — wild and refined, natural and electric — is what defines Savaya. (DJ Mag)

Savaya Bali

Savaya has become only the fourth Asian club ever to break into the top five of the DJ Mag poll. That is the company it now keeps: Ibiza, Berlin, Washington DC. And Uluwatu, Bali. (DJ Mag)
